How do I allow collaborators to fill in their details in my contract?
In all Contractbook drafts, the recipients of the final contract can fill in any variable data themselves, such as bank and personal contact details.
If you want to allow input from third parties in your contracts, you can add an Editable field for each data input, send the draft and initiate the signature process after the recipient has returned the filled-in document back to you.
Editable fields are particularly useful for data inputs that are likely to change from one contract to another such as name, salary, dates, and any personal details.
The editable fields can include three types of data:
- Text: All kinds of inputs are accepted: letters, words, numbers, special characters
- Number: Only numbers are accepted
- Date: Only date inputs are accepted. Depending on the language setting of the document the date format will change automatically. For example: <dd.mm.yyyy>, <yyyy.mm.dd>, or <mm.dd.yyyy>
