How to share a draft in Contractbook?
Open the draft you want to share with external collaborators and click on the highlighted blue Share button at the top right-hand corner of the navigation bar:
Note: You can always recognize a draft has not been shared with others by looking at the top navigation bar. The small label will be Draft instead of Shared draft.
You can now customize the sharing process by adding a single email address or choosing to share with multiple recipients at once by clicking on Add collaborator.
Managing the permissions of new and current collaborators:
From the right-hand drop-down list available for each collaborator, you will also be able to manage the Permissions level of the draft by choosing one of the following options:
- View and comment on document: A collaborator can read the draft and add comments to it
- Fill document: A collaborator can fill in the editable fields available in the draft
- Edit document: A collaborator can edit the entire body of the draft, including any editable fields
- Full access: A collaborator has the same permission rights as the owner of the draft and can fully manage the draft

You can also allow or disallow your collaborators to send the draft for signatures by controlling the toggle "Allow sending for signatures" to be on or off as follows.
This additional feature can be controlled while sharing the draft if you choose one of the following types of Permission:
- Fill document
- Edit document
Note: The last permission option called Full access will have the toggle “Allow sending for signatures” turned on by default and you are not able to turn it off.
You can further down customize your email invitation message (optional field) and press Share to confirm.
The draft has now been successfully shared. The person/people you shared it with will receive an email notification with your customized message and a direct link to access the draft:
They will be able to perform only the actions you have permitted them to while sharing the document with them. Read more about each type of permission in shared drafts here.
