Add and resolve comments to any of your Contractbook documents. Use them to negotiate deals, correct mistakes, and clarify details.
In this article, we will uncover the possibilities of tagging your teammates in comments across all your drafts.
Let us start with a short video to show you how to tag your collaborators in Contractbook comments and further down we will proceed with a step-by-step guide.
How to mention (Tag) in comments
With our Contractbook Smart mentioning you are able to tag relevant parties who need to review, approve, or edit anything on a draft before it is sent for signatures.
Start off by opening the draft you work on. You can activate the Comment mode by clicking on the Comments icon in the right-hand sidebar of your document.
By marking the word, phrase, paragraph (or just any text input that must be revised), you can add your comment and include a specific mention of the relevant for it person by using @ and typing their name afterward.
If you only add @ this will automatically expand a list of recommended names you can directly choose from:
If you scroll further down, you will also be able to invite any other user by inserting their email address.
Note: Inviting external users in your comments gives them access to the draft, comments, and tasks associated with it.
By allowing you to directly mention people in your comments we hope to enable you increased collaboration skills with minimum effort, so everyone involved in the pre-signature process is always updated with what is coming next.
