In case you need to insert a word, sentence, or a whole section based on the given answer to a question, then you need to use the IF stencil code function
In these situations, you have to do the same as before (Copy and Paste the question's ID as shown in the video above), but this time when you insert the question's ID in the document field, you have two statements in which the desired conditional text should be displayed.
- Click and Copy the question ID with the link to the given value that needs to be selected to display the conditional text:
- Place your mouse cursor at the location in the document template where the given conditional text should be displayed:
- Insert the value by holding the following commands - Control+V (PC) or Command+V (Mac) - the question ID with the given value:
- The next step is to customize your conditional statement. To do so, just highlight the {% end %} tag (this is where the IF statement should end in your setup), then copy it and move it to the place in the document template on which it should be placed for your instance:
