How to create parties and signees?
When creating a new template, draft or a PDF, your company (or private) party is added by default along with your signature details. This behaviour allows you to save time on repetitive actions.
New parties or signees can be added from the body content by clicking on the +Add new
button, or from the sidebar by clicking the Add or edit party or signee
button. Both of the buttons trigger a modal that allows creating and managing parties and signees.
Once a modal is opened, you can start adding your party and signees' details straight away. To successfully create a party, it is mandatory to choose a party type (company or private) and provide the company name. Additionally, you can add the optional information, such as company address
/ address
, company ID no
./ national ID no.
and hereinafter referred to as
. It is also possible to create a party from a contact list. In that case, the associated signee will be added automatically.
To add signees to the associated party, simply click on the +Add signee
button in the signees section in the modal. Similarly to the party creation, you can fill in the information manually or choose a signee from the contact list. The mandatory fields to successfully create signees are Full name
and email address
. Please note that it’s not possible to proceed with the signing of a contract if this information is not provided.
Once you have created your first party and connected to its signees, you can create another one by clicking on the +Add party
button. A new tab will be created in the modal, and its name will change as quickly as you name your party. The tabs allow you to switch between parties and their signees smoothly.
To close the modal, click on the “Save” button to ensure all changes are saved. Parties will appear at the top of the contract page, and signees at the bottom. Additionally, the sidebar opened on the “Parties and Signees” tab gives you an excellent, concise overview. The sidebar clearly indicates which signees are connected to which party.
How to edit parties and signees?
Editing parties is always accessible in the modal. Simply click on one of the parties or signees, whether in the sidebar or directly in a contract, to open the modal.
How to delete parties and signees?
There are a few ways to delete parties and signees. You can do that directly from the sidebar or in a contract by clicking on the trash icon. Alternatively, it’s possible to delete parties and signees directly in the modal. Please note that deleting a party equals deleting all signees connected to that particular party. Signees can be deleted individually.
How can I change the location of the parties' and signees' boxes?
Changing the location of the parties’ and signees’ boxes is really easy. Just drag and drop them whenever you want in the contract.
