How can I add a date in a data field?
- The date is one of the types you can select for any of your data fields. After a data field is created from scratch, or with the use of default data fields, you can either set a value or leave the date's value blank.

How can I format date data fields?
From the data field's properties, you can select the specific type of date formatting you wish to use for your contract.
Depending on your contract language, there are several different options or completely custom ones based on other country standards.

- If no other formatting option has been selected, the default dates formatting will be based on the contract language.

All date data fields will be formatted in the same format as your contract language.
Therefore, we recommend you use a "transform data" action to make changes in the default format (based on document language) or for additional dynamic calculations based on contract dates.
Which default data fields with date type can I use in my contracts?
Default data fields are static fields in the sidebar visible across all of the documents within your company (templates, drafts, contracts, uploads).
Main characteristics of default data fields:
