What types of permissions can I allow my collaborators in shared drafts?

What does each type of permission in the drafts I share allow others?

Here is an overview of all explicit permissions allocated to each option from the dropdown list you can use to select the role of each of your shared drafts' collaborators.

  • The contract owner will always have the permissions in the first column, and each of the remaining collaborators will be as follows:

What does the full-access permission allow my collaborators?

  • Choosing the full access permission type from the dropdown list when sharing a draft will enable collaborators to do everything the owner of the draft can do 
  • The Full access will always have the toggle “Can send documents for signatures,” "Can access private comments and suggestions" and "Can access full version history" turned on by default, and you will not be able to turn them off:

The only actions a collaborator with full access to a shared draft cannot do are:

  • Unshare the draft from the owner
  • Modify his permissions

What does full access to a document mean for my automations?

The full access permission level in documents enables the creation of centralized automations
